以前壊したThinkPad T60の替わりに入手したT60にはバックライトの点灯しない液晶ユニットが付いてきた。 この液晶ユニットはSXGA+なので捨てるには勿体無く、なんとか直せないかと思っていた。 最初インバーターカードの交換もしてみたが点灯しないので、やはり冷陰極管の不良ということらしい。 しばらくそのままにしていたが、昨夜バックライトの交換が可能か見てみることにした。 既に本体側からは取り外してあったので、ベゼルを外して液晶パネルを取り出した。 パネルを裏返しインバータから冷陰極管へのケーブルを抜きインバータを取り外した。 冷陰極管はパネル下部のステンレス板で覆われた部分の中に収められ ...

今年の6月に入手したThinkPad T60に付いてきたSXGA+の液晶ユニットを復活させられないかと思い分解して試してみた。 この液晶ユニットは電源投入直後に暗くなってしまうという故障品で、入手直後に試した際は電源投入時に一瞬だけ明るく光り、すぐに暗くなってしまうことが確認できている。 その後インバータの交換をしてみたが症状は改善しなかったので、液晶パネルもしくはバックライトの障害と思われた。 今回本体と接続しているケーブルを正常なXGAパネルのものと交換してみたところ、電源投入時のThinkPadのロゴがうっすらと表示されたので、パネルそのものは生きていると思われる。 ということはバックラ ...
